ANALOG MODELS
Brooktrout provides 2 series of Analogue board that offer full fax and voice processing on a single multi channel board, eliminating the need for separate voice and fax hardware platforms. The 2 series are:  TR1034 product line is the latest generation of intelligent fax boards from Brooktrout Technology, and offers enterprise customers a line of 33.6Kbps intelligent fax boards with high performance fax capabilities for a variety of computer-based fax applications, such as network fax, fax broadcast, unified messaging, and business process automation.
 TruFax Series is a line of intelligent fax boards that offer small to medium-sized businesses and departmental workgroups dependable fax capabilities for a variety of computer based fax applications, such as network fax and fax broadcast. The TruFax Series offers a level of reliability and fax performance that businesses can depend on at an economical price point for low volume fax traffic.
Unlike Class 1 and Class 2 fax modems, TruFax’s advanced fax algorithms, dedicated fax processing components, and a single- purpose design delivers the performance that enterprise fax applications require. Plus, the TruFax analog boards have been certified to support the Microsoft Shared Fax capability of Windows Server 2003 so that you can extend the capabilities of your server software. Brooktrout’s TruFax Series has a built in library of communication techniques that identify and adapt to the various implementations of real world fax machines and line conditions. This technical formula, TruFax’s Adaptive Call Progress ensures unparalleled levels of compatibility, high rates of connectivity and high overall transmission speeds. The Adaptive Call Progress algorithms ensure high connectivity rates and transmissions speeds across a wide range of fax machines and telephone line conditions. TruFax processes the fax protocol onboard, thereby lowering the CPU utilization of the server and improving overall system performance. Designed purposely to support fax-only modulation, TruFax provides a high level of network security from unauthorized data call attempts. The TruFax one-channel analog and two channel BRI 200 fax boards are designed for customers who have minimal faxing requirements, but still require a highly reliable and dependable solution. The TruFax two-channel analog and four-channel BRI fax boards are recommended for use with a network fax solution. By configuring the board to send and receive faxes through separate channels, the fax solution is always prepared to receive faxes in one channel while the other channel is occupied sending faxes from the outbound job queue. Brooktrout provides TR1034 series of Digital boards. TR1034 line of Digital E1 fax boards offers customers a complete V.34 fax platform with all the performance and reliability that made Brooktrout a world leader in intelligent fax. This line of Fax boards sets a new standard in high volume server applications. The TR1034 is a single slot fax card that supports the V.34 standard, delivering fast 33.6Kbps fax transmission speeds, with 8–30 fax channels per board, and features an onboard E1 interface. For customers, this delivers significant transmission cost savings, increased service capacity, and full interoperability with the growing installed base of V.34 fax machines. The TR1034 series delivers the ultimate in flexibility, offering support for both IP and PSTN network connectivity. For IP network connectivity, the TR1034 digital E1 offers an additional Ethernet interface and supports real-time fax over IP via the T.38 protocol and SIP call control. Brooktrout’s TR1034 has been tested with fax over IP equipment from industry leading providers, including Cisco T.38 gateways, to ensure interoperability. For PSTN-based faxing, the TR1034 is offered in a variety of analog, BRI and PRI configurations, compatible with all 33 MHz and 66 MHz PCI slots. For customers requiring a medium or low density fax solution, the TR1034 is available in 2, 4 and 8 channel analog and 2 and 4 BRI channels. For higher density PRI fax solutions, the TR1034 is available in 4, 8, 16, or 24 channel configurations for T1/PRI, or 4, 8, 10, 16, 20 or 30 channel configurations for E1/PRI. The TR1034 series, provides endusers the ultimate in choice for implementing either a PSTN or IP based network fax solution, depending on their IT requirements. |
